Are you living your happiest, Healthiest life? Hello from beach side!!!
I often think and talk about how we think we are living our healthiest happiest life but we are definitely not.
Stressful fast mornings, followed by long work days and crazy targets to meet. Talking about work weeks. A Gallup study found that 4 out of 10 full timers work 50 hours and 18% of full timers are doing .. get this.. OVER 60 hours a week!
Is that not insane or do are we conditioned to believe it is the new norm? And then after the work day is done there is a massive list of things that we need to attend too. How can this make us happy or healthy?
One study, published in Psychosomatic Medicine in 2000, looked at 12,000 men over nine years and found that those who failed to take annual vacations had a 21% higher risk of death from all causes, and they were 32% more likely to die of a heart attack. Yikes! And life is only going to get busier and faster?! UNLESS
We make the decision to take time to just be in the moment. To take in the air and the sound of the ocean, allow our brain to slow down by meditating before the craz of the day and calm our nervous system. To get moving in a fun exciting nourishing way. Have the time to grow, pick and cook fresh delicious food and..whats so important and often gets overseen until our health comes knocking on the door a job, business or money maker that excites you, you enjoy and can’t wait to spend time on. I find that clearing the energy, making a clean canvas to really start fresh and create a vision and plan. Making small changes at a time always work great. I don’t have all the answers to living your happies healthiest life but I have one to help you get started on your journey. Declutter all that does not serve you any more.
